Howard and I had a great experience last week providing two Administrator Academies for the Illinois Principals Association (IPA). There was a great group of dedicated professionals in attendance. We need to tap some of the great work that is being done in this state. Often, Howard and I feel that we are validating great work that is being done by schools who just need a little reassurance. I would like to thank everyone who came and I hope to see you again soon.
I wanted to share that Howard and I are providing a 8 part webinar series for the IPA starting in October. We’re experimenting a bit and will be offering the webinar at a time that is right after school for most administrators. The feedback so far is that this will be a good time slot. The series is labeled: The Empowered High School Model for 21st Century Schools: The Nine Levels of Capacity for Professional Learning Communities and Professional Learning Teams.
Also, we will be providing two more Administrative Academies for the IPA in February. These programs will be held February 11 in Elgin and February 23 in Springfield.
Just a reminder: we have a forum ready for sharing, please use it.
Thanks for reading.
Charles
